第２章 練習編 不思議の国のアリス ―関係性の体得に向けて―
この章は、不思議の国のアリス、Alice in wonderland を使って、関係性の練習をしていくにゃ。関係性は、多く実践していって体得していくものなのにゃが、代表的なものや基本的なものは、練習して身につけることができるにゃあ。この代表的な関係性を体得すれば、その後のペーパーバックでの関係性の習得の上達がスムーズにいくにゃ。パターン毎に、レベル別にやさしいものから難しいものへ、基本的なものから発展的なものへと配置してあるにゃ、実際に、解説を読みながら繰り返しやることによって、より読みやすい読み方を身につけていってほしいにゃ。特に目でスラッシュを入れるパートは繰り返しやってみるにゃあ。

ステップ０ 形容詞＋名詞
まずは一番の基本の基本だにゃ。
White rabbit
これをどう読んだにゃあ？whiteとrabbitを一遍に読んで”white rabitt”と読んだ方も多いと思うにゃ。そうにゃこれは一つの単語、名詞として読むことができるのにゃあ。そしてこれは２つ以上の単語をまとまりとして同時に読んでいることになるにゃ。これが一番基本のかたまり読みのケースになるにゃ。二つ以上の単語が一つのかたまりを作る。まずはこれが一番基本のケースになるにゃ。
たくさんあるのにゃがこういうものがあるにゃ。すべて一つのまとまりとして読むにゃ。

どうにゃ？初めはここからにゃ。
ステップ１ 前置詞
まずは、次の文にスラッシュを入れてみてほしいにゃ。意味の切れ目になる、読みやすい位置で何も考えずにスラッシュを入れてみてほしいにゃ。まず、文を区切って読むという感覚を少しでもつかむために、間違ってもいいので、感覚的にスラッシュで区切りを入れてみてほしいにゃ。プリントアウトできる方はプリントアウトしてスラッシュを入れるとスラッシュを入れる感覚が分かるにゃ。
He came trotting along in a great hurry,
"At least there's no room to grow up any more here."
The caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence.
Alice asked in a tone of great curiosity.
I've made up my mind about it
She said to herself in a melancholy tone.
"Ou est m chatte?"which was the first sentence in her French lesson book.
The Footman continued in the same tone,exactly as if nothing had happened.
She sat down in a large arm-chair at the one end of the table.
She found herself at last in the beautiful garden, among the bright flower-beds and cool fountains.
Alice had learnt several things of this sort in her lessons in the school loom.
There seemed to be no use in waiting by the little door,
どうにゃあ？初めてスラッシュを入れる人もいるかと思うのにゃが、今までにない感覚があると思うにゃ。どこで区切り（スラッシュ）を入れるかは決まった正解はないのにゃが、ここは区切った方がいいというところや、区切らず、つなげて読んだ方がいいというところは存在するにゃ。
今回は、前置詞の文です。前置詞から始まるところは、ひとまとまりとして読むのがポイントになるにゃ。前ページの文をスラッシュを入れて区切るとしたら、一つの解答例はこんな感じになるにゃあ。

前置詞から始まるところはひとかたまりとして読む
She sat down /in a large arm-chair/ at the one end of the table.
Inから始まるin a large arm-chairの文とatから始まるat the end of the tableの文があるにゃあ。At the end ofは一つの決まり文句でもあるのにゃが、前置詞から始まるブロックになっているにゃあ。この文では前置詞で場所を表しているにゃあ。
前置詞＋○○○
で、１ブロックだにゃ。
In＋○○
On＋○○
After＋○○
Out of ＋○○
etc…
これで、前置詞とセットになってさまざまな意味を文に付け加えるブロックができるにゃあ。
